    Emerging Trends in Real Estate® Europe 2020 Report. Focus on Poland.

    The presentation of findings of the Emerging Trends in Real Estate® 2020, the market-leading report that ULI publishes in collaboration with PwC, will be launching in Poland on Thursday, 5 December 2019.

    During the event we’ll be delving in to the report’s findings and discussing, among other things, the current business environment – as well as confidence and sentiment; what’s happening in capital markets – the availability of equity and debt and investment flows; and we will announce the league table of the top cities across Europe. We’ll also highlight the sectors that are becoming increasingly popular and look at future trends such as the future of urban mobility.

    Philip Lawlor

    FTSE Russell

    Philip Lawlor is Managing Director of Global Markets Research (GMR) at FTSE Russell. Philip joined FTSE Russell in July 2017 to develop its GMR capability and to produce a series of research reports that examine market dynamics and drivers across asset classes and regions. The data and analysis provided within the reports is targeted at investment committees and asset allocators. Philip’s areas of expertise is in asset allocation and economics. He has over 30 years of investment experience including managing large equity and multi-asset funds and heading asset allocation at major UK based institutions. He has also spent several years as an investment strategist at a large investment bank. Philip is an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP) designation and is a long-standing member of CFA UK.

    Kinga Barchon

    Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH WPG.

    Kinga Barchoń is a Partner in charge of PwC Advisory Real Estate team Team in Poland coordinating RE in CEE & overseeing dispute in Poland. She has over 18 years of experience in transaction support, including financial due diligence, review of Net Operating Income, acquisition accounting, review of projections, review of share purchase agreements and post deal services. Her experience in transaction services includes more than 150 projects. She has worked on assignments in Poland and a number of other countries in CEE / CIS. She had also over 7 years of experience in dispute analysis & investigations. Kinga is a Member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a Certified Internal Auditor.

    Robert Dobrzycki

    CEO Europe, Panattoni Developments

    Robert Dobrzycki oversees the operations in the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. He set up Panattoni’s headquarters for the CEE region in Poland in 2005 and in 2014 was appointed CEO for Europe. In 14 years under Robert’s management the company has developed over 6.9 million sqm of warehouse space out of existing stock of 16 million sqm in Poland. Panattoni was recently named largest developer in Europe by PropertyEU for the third year in a row. Robert began his career with Menard Doswell & Co., an industrial real estate development company, has over 17 years of experience in the real estate business. He is a Warsaw University graduate and has a Master’s in Business Management degree.

    Peter Noack

    Co-Founder & Managing Director, Zeitgeist Asset Management

    Peter Noack is co-founder of ZEITGEIST Asset Management. Today ZEITGEIST has 37 projects under management with a total investment volume of 515 mio Euro. ZEITGEIST with offices in Prague, Warsaw and Berlin, is a Real Estate Developer and Asset Manager for private and institutional investors in Germany and Central Eastern Europe. Prior to ZEITGEIST, Peter worked in institutional real estate in Germany, Central Eastern Europe and Turkey for HOCHTIEF Development and Rödl & Partner in Germany and Czech Republic. He is registered as licenced attorney at law in Germany and Czech Republic and holds a Law degree from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.

    Dorota Wysokinska-Kuzdra

    Senior Partner, Colliers

    As Senior Partner and Head of the Corporate Finance business line in CEE, Dorota provides advice on customers’ financial needs, including debt and mezzanine financing, capital raising and gaining joint venture partners, as well as offering support in M&A and IPO transactions. Before joining Colliers International, Dorota spent 11 years as Senior Partner at Griffin Real Estate, where she was responsible for the group’s management and investments, and also for the first mezzanine fund operating in Poland. Recently, she has been involved in the creation of a logistics platform co-managed by Griffin. Earlier, as CEO at Griffin Premium RE, the first REIT-type fund, she successfully launched the fund on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. She was a member of the team responsible for acquiring shares in Echo Investment SA, one of the biggest transactions on the Polish real estate market, in which she was responsible for due diligence and financing the acquisition. Before joining Griffin, for over 10 years she held director and executive positions in the HypoVereinsbank/UniCredit Group, and also in their subsidiaries, which monitored real estate investment banking and managing real estate. At the beginning of September 2018, Dorota took over as chairperson in the Polish branch of the Urban Land Institute, the international non-profit organisation. Dorota Wysokińska-Kuzdra is a graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics, the University of Cologne and the University of Duisburg-Essen.

    Adam Jedrzejewski

    Founder & CEO, Mobile City Association

    Adam is founder and CEO of the “Mobile City” Association, which is an industry organization fostering shared & new mobility services in Poland and CEE. Adam is a passionate urban developer driving innovative approach towards urban mobility with the aim of making cities more liveable, through introducing digital, eco-friendly and seamless forms of mobility. His core professional experience covers the following fields: shared mobility, MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service), parking projects and public-private partnerships

    Astrid Schafleitner

    Deputy Head of Development, Motel One Development GmbH

    Astrid Schafleitner joined the development team of the expanding hotel group Motel One in 2011. She holds the position of Deputy Head of Development and as such is responsible for the expansion of Motel One in South Germany, Austria, CEE, Spain and Portugal. Ms Schafleitner graduated in Business Science from the University of Linz.

    Andrea Carpenter

    Director, Diversity Talks Real Estate

    Andrea Carpenter is a Director of Women Talk Real Estate, and a writer and communications consultant in the property industry. She is currently working as a consultant for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). As a Director of Women Talk Real Estate, Andrea helps raise the visibility of female experts in the industry through the stage and media. On the writing side, her book about the history of the modern European property industry, High Rise and Fall, was published by Routledge in September 2018. Andrea began her career as a journalist at Property Week before moving on to be editor of EuroProperty for seven years. Following this she worked for various industry bodies including the Urban Land Institute, INREV in Amsterdam, and its sister organisation ANREV in Hong Kong. On returning to the UK, she worked as Head of Marketing and Communications EMEA at CBRE Global Investors.
