Anna Rusek has extensive experience of more than 20 years in managing complex environmental projects. For six years she was responsible for managing a team of more than 60 consultants, which, within the structures of an international consulting firm, supported Polish and foreign investors in environmental and water management projects. Her knowledge and experience were repeatedly used by leading developers, investment funds and global financial institutions for projects such as Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and environmental risk management consulting in investment processes. Anna’s department has been involved in nationwide projects including the Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for 44 Polish cities. From 2020 to 2022, Anna's responsibilities included using Databout's proprietary tools to implement the concept of 15-minute cities. In June 2022 Anna joined the Project Development & Consultancy team at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, where she is responsible for ESG aspects of the real estate market. Anna graduated in Environmental Protection with a specialization in soil contamination and remediation of degraded land, later defending her PhD thesis in the same area.

Barbara Pancer is an attorney-at-law and a local partner in the Real Estate Practice at the Greenberg Traurig Warsaw office. She is also head of the Environmental Protection Practice. Barbara is a specialist in energy and infrastructure projects, environmental issues, particularly related to the development process, as well as in construction and engineering issues. She represents institutional and private investors, developers, banks, energy companies and state agencies in major real estate and infrastructure projects on the Polish market, including logistics centers, office buildings, shopping centers, wind farms, highways and incineration plants. Barbara conducts internal and external training sessions regarding environmental issues, which are highly appreciated by Clients. She is also the author of numerous articles regarding construction and environmental law published in Polish quality newspapers and industry press.

Justyna Kozik is a junior associate at the Greenberg Traurig Warsaw office. She focuses her practice on real estate law, corporate law and environmental law. Justyna advises on transactions relating to real estate and real estate companies. She participates in due diligence works related to real estate, companies and assets. She supports clients in day-to-day legal advisory, including renewable energy sources and various environmental issues.
