As the leader of SOM’s City Design Practice in London, Dan directs projects which focus on the urban transformation of our cities. He also guides the urban strategy of many architectural projects in the London office. Collaborating closely within a multi-disciplinary team, he is able to guide the development of city designs with the client and specialist consultants. Dan Ringelstein brings a unique perspective to his many accomplishments in urban environments around the world. As an architect, urban designer and city planner, he is interested in the physical characteristics of a place and how planning, urban design, infrastructure and architecture can create a positive public environment. This is evident in the strong role he has played in realising complex projects of significant magnitude through collaborative planning, implementation and delivery. Dan has extensive experience working across differing cultures and contexts throughout the world. His urban design and planning skills include a strong ability to work in concert with regional authorities, city officials, public and private institutions, developers, specialist consultants and individual communities to deliver long-term visions.

Lina Liakou leads the resilience practice in Europe and the Middle East for the Global Resilient Cities Network pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation (formerly 100RC), working with the 21 member cities across the region in developing their resilience thinking through long term City Resilience Strategies and actionable initiatives. Before joining the Network, Lina was Deputy Mayor and Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Thessaloniki, Greece. As a Deputy Mayor, Lina Liakou initiated collaborations with the European Commission, the EIB and the World Bank. Prior to this, Lina was Chief Executive of the Metropolitan Development Agency of Thessaloniki, an intermunicipal company that coordinates national and international research projects. Lina Liakou is an architect and urban designer from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London and a Marshall Memorial Fellow (2015) of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch is a partner and head of the real estate department of the Warsaw office of Greenberg Traurig. Jolanta has more than 30 years of legal experience in real estate, focusing her practice on real estate transactions and financing of real estate projects. She has extensive experience in major transactions concerning office, commercial, and logistic properties and cross-border transactions. Her experience also includes arbitration proceedings in Poland. She represents developers, project financing banks, institutional clients and real estate funds in construction projects in Poland. Described as “market icon” by international rankings, Jolanta has been involved in some of the largest and most complex transactions in Poland and within the CEE region. Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch has been recognized as one of the leading lawyers in Poland in various legal directories including Chambers Europe and EMEA Legal 500. As an active spokeswoman engaged in promoting gender diversity, Jolanta received the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Award Europe and the Top Woman in Real Estate: Business Management Award. She also participates in the Mentorship Program for Urban Land Institute (ULI) Young Leaders. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Warsaw University. She qualified as an advocate in 1985.

Responsible for the strategy and development of Echo Investment. For 15 years he had been with Skanska where he worked as the President for Skanska Commercial Development Europe (CDE) and the head of Skanska Property Poland, a unit within Skanska Commercial Development Europe. Prior to that Nicklas Lindberg had worked with Residential Development in the Nordics. In the 2008- 2015 period he worked for Skanska Russia, as both CFO and CEO. Appointed CEO of Echo Investment in April 2016. He graduated from the University of Lund in 2001.
