YL Post-MIPIM Market Update 2024
Warsaw, 4 April 2024
We had the pleasure of hosting the ‘YL Post-MIPIM Investment Market Update’ event, and it left us feeling optimistic about the long-term future of the real estate market! 🌟
Higher-for-longer interest rates continue to be a significant driver of investment activity, both on a global scale and locally. However, our esteemed speakers shared insights that suggest we may see relatively more transactions happening in the coming year.
Despite the challenges of recent years, including those faced in 2022 and 2023, this year’s MIPIM fairs brought a moderate optimism. It’s a positive sign for the industry as we navigate through uncertain times.
‘Beds and sheds’ remain hot topics in the real estate landscape, but there’s also a wealth of new property concepts emerging in both the living segment and the industrial sector. Despite many market entry challenges still emerging, the diversity of opportunities is exciting and promising.
The office sector is currently in a state of anticipation, with investors remaining highly selective. However, there is a chance for a breakthrough soon and we may see more transactions on the horizon, particularly in the prime segment and on the other hand those with very opportunistic strategies.
A huge thank you to our host Dentons and fantastic speakers
- PIOTR SZAFARZ, Partner, Head of Real Estate in Poland and CEE, Dentons
- KAMIL KOWA, Managing Director, Savills Poland
for sharing their invaluable insights and expertise.
